News for you all: In Mulbhagal ( Kolar Dist) there is one import place

associated with Swami Desikan . I was not knowing , I was listining to to the

Upanyasam CD By Sri Madhavachar on Swami Desikans Vybhavam ( Beautiful set of

Upanyasam CD's brought out by Malleshwaram Desika Sabha) , In that he mentions

that On a small hillock Swami Desikan was the Judge for a debate between The

Dwaitha Sanyasi Akshobha Muni and Adwaitha Philosopher Sri Vidhyaranyar ( He was

Balya Senehithar of Swami Desikan and he is the cause for Swami Desikan to

compose beautiful Vairagiya Panchagam it can be found in url

:http://www.sundarasimham.org/ebooks/ebook14.htm) . Then in the end of 21 days

debate Swami gave the nispaksha Judgement in favour of Akshobha Muni inspite of

Vidhyaranyar being the Balya Snehithar . To comemorate this Judgement a Vijya

Sthambha is there with a small sloka, many of us do not know. Yesterday Adiyen

had the bahagyam of visting Mulbhagal and covered Mulbhagal Anjaneaya &

Narasimha Theertha Temple for your website www.karnatakavaishnavatemples.net. ,

but unfortunately I could climb only half the hilllock and it was afternoon and

I had to climb the hot boulders and i was alone, so i came back decided to visit

next time early in the morning and then climb the hilllock alonmg with some more

people and take the snap of Vijaya Sthambha and display for all. . I was told by

the Officals of Sri Padaraja Mutt that H H Thirukudanthai Andavan ( H H Kannan

Swamigal ) had climbed the difficult hilllock and saw Vijayasthambha.

Promising you the Visual treat of Mulbhagal Anjaneaya & Narasimha Theertha

Temple in a day or two.
