Dear Swamins/ Asthikas/Sri Hayagreeva Bhakthas You are well aware about Sri Parakala Mutt and the details of the Presiding Deity Sri Hayagreevan. Normally I used to tell that Sri Nrusimha Khsetras are widespread and famous in Andhra and also part of Tamilnadu while Sri Hayagreeva temples are famous in Karnataka. The Rajas of Mysore protected developed and performed many kainkaryam to Sri Hayagreevan and Sri Parakala Mutt. THese are the facts well known to you, all. Like this, you are also known that without Sri Hayageevan"s anugraha, we would not had an unparallelled Acharya SWami Desika some 730 years back. Sri Hayagreevan is the Acharyan to our acharyan Swami Desikan. Thus Sri Hayagreevan Sri Parakala Mutt Swami Desikan are the life-lines to Vaishnavites, particularly to Vadakalai Sampradayam ( Sri Desika Sampradayam). If at all we want to worship Sri Hayagreevan, we have to show to our gratitude to Sri Parakala Mutt and Swami Desikan. The articles in this magazine are most wonderful as the front-line vidwans like " Sreebhashya Simhasanam Nadadhur Sri U.Ve. Villur Karunakarachariar Swamy"Sri U.Ve. Chetlur Srivathsangachariar Swamy, his Kumarar Sri U.Ve. Raghavachariar Swamy, Sri U.Ve Anantha Narasimhachariyar Swamy ( Srirangam), Sri U.Ve. Gopala Desikachariar Swamy ( Oppiliappan Sannithi) are contributing thought provoking and valuable articles every month.Alas! the unfortunate one was that the magazine could not come out for few months because of financial crunch. Though there is financial trouble, Sri U.Ve. T.C. Srinivasan advocate , Editor & Publisher of this magazine determined to revive the magazine and it is coming out every month now The joyful event is that Sri Lakshmi Hayavadhana Manthramalika Sthuthi which is the anugraha of Maha Vidwan Kasthuri Rangachariar Swamy of Mysore some hundred years back is coming in this magazine now, with the wonderful and mind capturing meanings fluently given by Sri U. Ve. Villur Nadadhur Karunakarachariar Swamy ( Pl see attachment).This has also been published in the Sovenier " Kadhamba Mala" brought out at the time of dedication function of Mahamandap at Oushathagiri , the sacred Hill of Sri Hayagrevan Thiruvahundrapuram which may be seen by you if you got the " Mala" He has ,with his kindness, agreed to give vyakyanams ( Excellent meanings) to Sri Hayagreeva Sahasranama from Vaikasi Issue Being a man/woman we can earn everything searching on all sides, but our soul will not get satisfied with the material benefit.
