The presiding deity is Lord Lakshmikantha Perumal a.k.a. Srikantha Perumal. Dwajasthambha Prathistai and Deepa Kambha Prathistai is also taking place. Hedathale has produced two illustrious son and they are Sri Rnaga Guru a Ashtanga Yogi and My Abhimana Guru H H Sri Rangapriya Swamigal of Ashtanga Yoga Vijayan Mandiram, Bangalore. Swamiji will also be there in Hedathale on Rath Usthavam Day.
