Guest guest
Dear Swamin, Guidance Please. Re: Niyamam with regard to Marriage by own/cousin sister/brother marrying persons of other Caste/Religion (particularly Christian). Of late, we find that inter-caste and inter-religion marriages are becoming very common in the Brahmin families. I humbly seek your expert opinion with regard to Marriage by own/cousin sister/brother who is marrying persons of other Caste/Religion in respect of the following: Whether we can accept them Whether the same person be allowed to participate in all the rituals occurring in our homes, e.g., marriages or ceremonies Whether we can have relationship with them If we do not have the relation with them, we invite the wrath of the relatives, particularly the parents of the girl/boy If we make-up our mind to accept them, how we can treat them. Whether we could allow them to partipate in our daily rituals and functions Please help me with your guidance. Yours truly, V VENKATAKRISHNUN 5, 50, 500, 5000. Store N number of mails in your inbox. Guest guest
Dear Swamin, It is not my intention to hate anybody. But my seeking of your guidance is only to clarify whether 1. we can allow them to participate in our functions like marriage, seemandam and other auspicious occasions in the dias 2. we can allow them to participate in ceremonies and take the Pithrusesham When we move close with them with this hardship, we may need to invite them for all the functions and their participation in the dias during occasions like Mangalyadharanam, Athaikappu (Seemandham) etc. I request your clarifications whether any person who has embrassed other religion be allowed to participate in all these. I would like to reiterate that it is not intention to hurt the feelings of anybody, but I seek your guidance as per our Siddhantham. Guest guest
Adiyaen dasan, Srimathe RengaRamanujaya namah i'm too young to give my views. But at the same time i want to share my thoughts with you on this We remember Devah Manushya rupaena I feel we (vaishnavites) should treat/see every one on the name of Narayana.Whether it may be human or animal living non-living...... I feel instead of pouring advices to yougsters like do this do that, we can teach them through our actions. This is more like teaching through experiments rather from books which would remain in heart for long period. I feel we should treat them as a member of our family " Vasudeva Kudumbakam " and neglecting them on any occassion would create a hole in the sailing boat of dharma. These are my thoughts that i want to share. Please forgive me if i'm wrong Dasan Damodharan S (Nanganallur- Haygrivar sanidi) --- ramaswamy kannan <rk_1940 wrote: > Reg Query of Mr.VVkrishnan, as for as I know there > should be no bar in participating in > marriages,Seemantham etc.But it is wise avoid them > in > annual ceremonies for the departed > souls, particularly > partaking pithrusesham. Please consult your acharya > or > your house prohit in religious matters-regards dasan > kannan > > --- vvkrishnun <vvkrishnun wrote: > > > Dear Swamin, > > > > It is not my intention to hate anybody.
