Guest guest
Swamin, Vaiyathu Vazhveergaal - we are blessed and proud to be born in this era and in this Bharathavarshe Bharatha kande and having the BhAgyam of the Anugrahams of these Mahans. having said that, i must say that HH is conditioned with His service in His Poorvasrama when he taught in schools in dead - dry rural areas - where 95% of the students were from the backward and most suppressed forms of communities. It is no wonder that the College that bears his name today has, in a major municipal corporation of Tamizhnadu - over 70% backward & OBC?MBC, DAlit students. As i mentioned in the Paduka Article, Tamizhnadu government gave us over Rs. 21.60 lakhs for scholarships to be distributed to 866 students! That is their recognition of the service of HH for the cause of higher education touching the really needy sections of the society! Regards. Hardly the public knows about this silent social service, in the days of pompous claim of reservations by vested interest. We are really proud that we are the thiruvadis of these aacharyas.
