till late 19th century for western metallurgists! that too such a massive item!2) Helio centric theory was well known to indians .:Arya bhatta has clearly mentioned in his works , which date back to 5th century AD. Also Indians never thought the earth to be flat unlike the westerners till 19th century. Refer even Vishnu purana etc they talk about that. The scientist who proposed the Helio centric theory was butchered , as it was considered blasphamous to criticize Geo centric theory of Aristotle. 3) When Darwin enunciated his theory of evolution , he was hounded and had to run for life as it antagonized Bible, which stated that the human race started only 5000 years back, whereas for indians it is billions of years old. Not only this the age of universe believed by Indians is close to the proposal of modern Astronomers! 4) Indians were aware of Numbers as big as 10 to the power of 50 and as small as 10 to the power of -20. Refer Jataka

tales, Discovery of india ,Ramayana etc. for details , about which I have lectured. In ramayana names of numbers available upto 10 to the power of 20 ! 5) Saturn',s synodic time was estimated by Indian astronomers to the accuracy of 29.99 years , which Modern astromers could get through sophisticated telescopes in early 20th century only!6) The theory of infinity was a child's pastime- they knew infinity +/-/* infinity=Infinity only. 7) in philosophy they were very advanced and sophisticated , due to which many great scientists were attracted. We can go on adding endlessly.Regards,Narasimhan

Boardwalk for $500? In 2007? Ha! Play Monopoly Here and Now (it's updated for today's economy) at Games.
