Another elevant anecdote - Sri Srimushnam Srinivasachariar Swami was a great scholar and a great friend of our HH even from HH's Poorvasramam apart from rendering unique kainkaryam to the 43rd Jeer of Sri Ahobila Mutt. HH decided to honour him aa s Vidwan during the Thirunakshatrams, adiyen had the pleasant task of inviting the scholar for the function and to receive the honours form HH. The Scholar confirmed but did not attend. It appears that he was seriously sick, he came to the Asramam in Chennai after the Thirunakshatram celebrations and received the Honours straight from HH and then passed away within the next few days. Sriman Narayana had held the scholar back for a few days so that he could honoured in person.
