It is a sad news and a great loss to us indeed. Even as a great scholar who was an authority in our sampradayam, he was always kind, ready and eager to spend a great deal of time explaining to questions, in a very simple manner that ignorant individuals like adiyen could easily understand. He always believed in getting the next generation interested in our sampradayam by explaining things in a lucid manner and not in discouraging the questions they have as sheer ignorance.

 

Sri Ramanuja Mission had the bhagyam of arranging a Tele-Upanysam given by Srikaryam swami under the command of Srimath Andavan back in 2002. The subject was about how greatness of Saranagathy is highlighted repeatedly in Srimath Ramayanam. He gives many quotes from Valmiki Ramayanam and Swami Desikan's Mahavira Vaibhavam and Dasavatharam.

We are very fortunate to have recorded this Nectarine of upanyasam, the one and only tele-upanysam given by this great swami for posterity. Please listen to this nectarine of Upanysams by the great vidwan. May his soul enjoy the permanent bliss of serving our perumal.

 

As a prapanna and one who was preaching the greatness of it, it is no doubt that our Srikaryam swami has attained Moksha and is now serving our dear lord Sriman Narayanan in Srivaikuntam amongst the company of nithysooris and other mukthas.
