Kalthur, Chenglipu Dist. Dear Devotees, It is my pleasure to share what I have experienced here in Atlanta during my short visit from India during the Sri Krishna Jayanthi celebrations. I am currently staying with my son Sri Rajagopalan in Atlanta. I have come here on a 6 months Visa. During Labor Day weekend (Aug 31 - Sep 3, 2007), Sri Rukmani Sathya Bama Sametha Sri Venugopalaswamy of Sri Ramanuja Mission of Srirangam Srimath Andavan Ashramam was on Sancharam to Atlanta to bless the devotees on the occasion of Sri Krishna Jayanthi. I was fortunate enough to pray and get the blessings of the Lord. I learned that the name "Sri Ramanuja Mission" was chosen by HH Sri Ranga Ramanuja Maha Desikan to be common to all Vaishnava Sampradayam. It was amazing to see the entire setup of Utsava Perumal and Dolai designed under the guidance of HH keeping the

"requirements" in the USA in mind. This highlights the wisdom and knowledge of our Andavan swamigal and the blessings of all the previous acharyas. I am amazed by the efforts and dedication of Shishyas who accompanied the Lord from Washington DC to perform these celebrations at Atlanta. Srimans - Kesavan Kannan, Sriram Ramanujam, Kesavan Krishnamachari, Balaji Ramanujam and Aravind Sairam drove more than 11 hours in the van to maintain and spread our Vaishnava Sampradayam according to directions from HH Srimad Aandavan. I was really happy to see their sincerity, the way they did the seva-kalam and their adherence to our Sampradayam.

The sincerity of Sri Nadadur Madhavan who performed the Aaradhanam needs special mention. The Thirumanjanam, Aaradhanam, Upacharams and the way Gattiyam was chanted were all beautifully done according to our Sampradayam. I was told that Sri Raman Padmanabhan of Atlanta was responsible for all the coordination and planning for the entire event. I never expected to get an opportunity to attend a Thirumanjanam and Dolai (for 2 days) like this in Atlanta. Words are not enough to describe their efforts and sincerity

in spreading our Sampradayam even with their commitment to their family and full time jobs. I pray that with the blessing of Sri Rukmani Sathya Bama Sametha Sri Venugopalaswamy and HH Srimad Andvan swamigal these Shishyas will live happily and continue to spread our Sampradayam throughout America for a long time.
