He is a Salakshana Ganapati {=PhD} & a Veda Baashyam {equal to a D Sc in modern education}. His Ganantham Pariksha was conducted by the Late Paramacharya himself. Tremendously impressed by the then young Yajur Veda Ganapati, HH appointed him as a Parikshaadhikari {examiner} for the Veda Exams conducted by Sankara Mutt Patasalas, Our swami performed this oneraous task for nearly 55 years before he gracefully let others do that job - By that time he also became too busy with our own Veda Patasalas. Almost all our Patasalas {exepting Maheshmal} were inaugurated by him and he is in direct charge of Vaduvur Veda Patasala {with 50 Vidyarthis} even today. Four Ganapatis recently passed out from Vaduvur under his tutelage, two of them are teaching in our Patasalas and one is a respected Aradhakar in a temple in Iowa, USA. He has officiated as the Brihaspathi in nearly 44 Chatur Maasya Sanakalpams by three Yathis of the Asramam without break from 1963 to 2006, He was severely indisposed in 2007 and could not perform the role of Brihaspathi in 2007, the only occasion he missed out on this proud privilege, He was also the officiating Brihaspathi when four Acharyas took to Holy Orders {ThuriAsramam or Sanyasaasramam} - HH Srimad Thirukkudanthai Andavan, HH Srimad Mysore Andavan, HH the 45th Jeer of Sri Ahobila Mutt and Prakrutham HH Srimad Srimushnam Andavan, He was the receipient of the Rashtrapathi Award as a Sanskrit/Vedic Scholar in 2001 and countless other Honours by various Mutts & Acharyas. He has authored the magnum opus " Pithru Medah Saaram " - a text book on Dharma Saastraa! He is the fittest person to become the Srikaryam And also our Acharya as the 12th Peetathipathi of Srirangam Srimad Andavan Asramam! Maybe the Padukas will place him there sooner than later as HH Srimad Vaduvur Andavan Sri Vedantha Ramanuja Mahadesikan or under any title that they may choose to bestow upon him! It has been Adiyen's proud privilege to have know this great Scholar, simple person and a kind hearted soul for nearly 35 years. Another extra ordinary quality is his book keeping {a person without any background education in accounts & book keeping} - in his own hand writing, the Swamin used to keep separate Cr/Dr Accounts for each and every donation received by him for the Veda Patasalas. A Trustee of the Asramam, Shri N KAsturi Rangan, an MBA {Finance} from Wharton School of Management, USA, was deputed to audit the accounts of these Patasalas and was stunned by the clarity and correctness of our Swamin's account keeping!
