Guest guest
Dear Swamins Extending greetings between relatives, between, friends etc is an age old custom in Hindhu Dharma during sankaranthi , Deepavali etc( Pal Pongirra etc, Ganga snaanam aachchaa etc) Like saying " Good bye" to so many customs and practices of our dharma, we slipped from this and involved in other worldly matters But britishers took this custom as their's and introduced this here during their rule. We took this as a pride and commenced to offer greetings The reason to tell this here is that to remind all of us about offering greetings is our age-old practice We are now accostommed to english language, english calender, english dress code, etc etc. Hence the practice of offering greetings during new year Srikainkarya prays Sri Lakshmayagreevan to extend His Krupa kataksha on all of you & your family members with abundent education, wealth and absolute health Let us begin this day with a prayer to Sri Lakshmi Hayagreevan ( not only today but all days ahead) Dasan Uruppattur Soundararajan Srikainkarya Looking for last minute shopping deals?
