AdiyEn captured only a fewpictures, please see link below.http://nirvalur.blogspot.com/Kudanthai Dakshinamoorthy and Vedha/Prabandha Goshamwere a feast to the ears and the nice renovatedtemple, pushkarani behind the temple, Bhagavathas andthe Divya Dhampathis were a feast to the eyes. Onecan forget hunger but not the (Deva)Raja BhogaPrasadham. The new Thirumadaipalli is rather hugechurning out delightful prasadhams in greatquantities, including Kadham, Thadhiyannam, ChakaraiPongal, Padusha, Thirupathi style laddu & Vadai(courtesy Thirupathi Cheenu Maama's son Sri.Ramesh, who hail from Nirvalur as well). AdiyEn missed out theevening festivities (Kalyana Utsavam, SrimadAzhagiyasinghar Mangalasasanam as well as ThiruveedhiPurapAdhu) which went on in a grand manner.Yesterday the villagers have unearthed an ancientLakshmi Narayanar idol with inscriptions on the base, below a Neem tree(used to belong to my maternalforefathers).
