Guest guest Posted April 3, 2008 Report Share Posted April 3, 2008 Dear Sevarthis, Adiyen would like to clarify: HH had a mild incidence of Vertigo, This is an age related condition common to many persons above 60 years of age, On 22-03-2008, HH felt giddy and was thoroughly examined by Drs Varadachari & Venugopal at Dombivili, As a measure of abundant caution, a CT Scan was ordered, The scan report was faxed to Dr J Balasubramaniam/Chennai & Dr Krishnan/Hyderabad for their opinions, They attend on HH whenever He is in Chennai or Hyderabad, They have opined that HH will have some discomfort and should take more rest, HH is not having any serious illness, HH does NOT have any disease but only a discomfort. He is having appropriate medication under the advice of these eminent Doctors, HH had the same condition in 1993 & 1994, HH recovered to travel close to 60,000 kms since He undertook His Yatras in 1995!! HH is performing Perumal & Paduka Aradhanams regularly without any serious discomfort, HH needs rest BUT that is NOT the job description!! This detailed submission is because some interested persons have given a twist to the issue, Let me assure all Sevarthis that HH is almost normal and will be back in Chennai on 22-04-2008. Seeing is believing - So let us all assemble in big numbers on 22-03-2008 at Chennai Asramam, Let us offer our reverential greetings to HH when He returns to Chennai. Let us also resolve that day that we will ensure that HH gets the maximum possible rest, Let us make sure that HH lies flat for at least 2-3 hours a day so that this Vertigo effects are minimised to the maximum extent possible, Of course, " Pathu Periyavaa " - as HH is fond of saying often - will look after HH and the Asramam, They have done so for the past 275 years and will do so for the next millenium, So not to worry about HH's temporary discomfort, We sishyas are also resposible for taxing Him too much , HH has nothing to prove after 19 years of Acharyakam, over a 100,000 Samarayanams/ Baranyasams, hundreds of Mangalasasanams of Divya Desams/Abhimana Stalams, 8 new Veda patasalas and an Arts & Science College that has {with the Grace of the Padukas} got an A Grade from NAAC, the UGC's autonomous arm & over 7 successful Bharata Yatras, So let us pray that HH will slow down at least now, But this is a wish that HH will not fulfill as He revels in Blessing more & more Sishyas, As K Sadagopan Iyengar said, HH is an avaricious Acharya who wants more & more Atmaas to liberate from the cycle of births & deaths, perform Prapatthi and reach them to the lotus feet of Sriman Narayana.
