Sri Krishna Sabha, ' Saranagati ', 4/264 J.S Yagnik Marg, Sion East, Mumbai 400 022 have organised for the 62nd year, the Annual " Sri Ramanuja Jayanthi " at the sabha premises. The functions planned include Veda Parayanam, Sribashyadi grantha Parayanam, Divyaprabantha Parayanam ,everyday starting 30 April 2008. There will also be Daily Upanyasam by Vidwan, Navalpakkam Shri. U.Ve. Vasudevachariar Swami. Parayanams commence daily at 3.00 PM. Upanyasam from 8.00 PM to 9.30 PM. The topic of the Upanyasam is; 30Apr Sri Ramanuja Avataram; 1 May Vedarta sangraham ; 2 May Deepam; 3 May Deepam ; 4 May Sri Bashyam at 11.45 AM; 5 May Sri Geethabashyam; 6 May Gadya Trayam ; 7 May Nityam ; 8 May Sri Bhagwad Vishayam ; 9 May Swami Desikan Avatharam. As in the past Sri Prahaladavaradan with His concerts ( Sri Ahobila Mutt, Chembur ) visits the sabha on 4 May 2008 , arriving at 8 AM. On this day Thirumanjanam to Perumals is the highlight. On 9 May, The Thirunakshta day of Sri Ramanuja, there will be grand traditional recitation 'Ramanusa Nootranthai ' ,followed by Peria Satrumurai, Theertham, Upanyasam, Sambhavanai, Goshti. All are requested to visit the sabha on all days and recite ,Divya Prabandams and inform all their friends and relatives of this programme. Books for recitation will be made available by the sabha.
