Tiruppavai -- New Publication,with datas on Munithraya Sampradyam

Dear Members,

I would like to inform all of you about the initiative undertaken by two of our devoted Ashramam Sishyas, Sri Kalyanaraman and Sri Rangarajan of Chetloor Thanjavur Varadachari family. They are energetic brothers and both are journalists by Profession. They have very deep knowledge about our Sampradayam mainly due to their family traditions and very much deeply devoted to our Munithraya Sampradayam.

They have very wide contacts with all our Sri Vaishnavaite Yatheeswaras.

By their Association with Tamil daily “Makkal Kural”, they have made use of every opportunity to bring out special supplements on Srimath Andavan Ashramam, Srimath Poundarikapuram Ashramam, Srimath Ahobila Mutt, Srimath Parakala Mutt and Srimath Vanamamalai Mutt on the occasions of Tirunakshatrams of respective Yatheeswaras. All those Yatheeswaras know them very well and has appreciated their sincere devotion to our Sri Vaishnava Sampradayam.

Some months back, they brought out their maiden effort in publishing a book on the commentaries on Tiruppavai discourses as spelt out by Srimath Tirukkudanthai Andavan Swamigal. Their devotion to Tirukkudanthai Andavan and also Munithraya Sampradayam is so much, they have now brought out the second edition of the same book completely revamped with beautiful multi colour photographs of various Divya Desa Perumals.

But the most important addition to the second edition of this very important publication is MUNITHRYA SAMPRADAYA GURUPARAMPARAI, with a full page colour printout of all Acharyas of Srirangam Srimath Andavan Ashramam right from Peria Perumal to the present day Srimath Andavan Sri Rangaramanuja Mahadesikan Swamigal. Sri.Rangarajan has taken great efforts to collect the datas about all our Acharyas.

All those details appearing in the book about our Munithrya Sampradayam, has been verified by H.H. and has His blessings for the release of the publication.

With His blessings, the possession of this book in each of your household , will be very valuable and a source of information about our Acharyas.

It may please be noted that at present this book is published in Tamil. But the publishers are already making efforts to bring out an English translation of the same book, for the benefit of devotees living around the world and those who could not read Tamil and still interested to have the book with them. For this the publishers require financial support by way of Advertisements either half page or full page. The members may also be informed that H.H. has directed them them to bring out a new publication on “ Thiruppallani “ and this is scheduled to be released on the occasion of Chaturmasya Sankalpam on 18th July, 2008, at Tiruppallni. For this effort also, they are looking for financial support from interested members, by way advertisements in the book.
