Guest guest
Dear those who are yet to come to ThiruppullaaNi, These two photos of the paintings by Sri Ramu Swamin of Mumbai have greatly enhanced the beauty of the already spacious hall of the ThiruppullAni Ashramam. You are left with just 20 days only to have the bhagyam of performing thatheeyaaraadhanam in this Chakravarthi Thirumakan ukantha SaraNAkathi kshethram that too when Acharya Sarva Bauman is on his Chathurmasya Sankalpam. We will never have another opportunity to drive away all our "thukkams" and earn a lot of "PuNyams" Please also remember your contributions will be helping to carry over the Vedic culture to ages ahead as, HH Srimad ANdavan's Niyamanam it is, all the amount is to be used ONLY and ONLY for Veda SamrakshaNam. I pray all the SrivaishNavites world over to join hands to make this project a graeat success .dasan,T.Raguveeradayal(On behalf of SSA 20th CS Committee)

Guest guest
Smt Venkatesan, Adiyen dasasya vignaapanam. Trichy is nearer to Thiruppullani than Kumbakonam. I am repeatedly informing members about the geographic location of Thiruppullani. But it seems many had not read those mails. Otherwise you would not not have asked the distance from Rameswaram. Anyhow, I shall repeat once again not for you only but for all those who may read this. Thiruppullani is just 8 kms from Ramanathapuram. Ramanathapuram is enroute to Rameswaram from Chennai. Rameswaram is 60 KMs away from Ramanathapuram. Those who come to Thiruppullani from Chennai, Trichy, Kumbakonam, Madurai NEED NOT GO TO RAMESWARAM. If you come by train or bus get down at Ramanathapuram. Mrs. Venkatesan, if you start from Kumbakonam there is no train service. If coming by bus, come via Tanjore, Pudukkottai, Karaikkudi and Ramanathapuram. From Trichy also come to Pudukkottai and follow the above route. If you come via your own/hired vehicle from Pudukkottai you can come via Thirumayam, Thirukkoshtiyur, Sivagangai, Manamadurai and Ramanathapuram. In this route you can cover two Divya Desams -- Thirumayam and Thirukkoshtiyur. From Trichy you can also come by Chennai -- Rameswaram Sethu Express which starts by 11 PM and reaches Ramanathapuram by 4 AM. There is another passanger train from Trichy to Rameswaram that leaves Trichy by 6 AM and reaches Ramanathapuram by 11.30 AM From Ramanathapuram, plenty of town buses are avilable. Autos and taxis are also available. Bus route 1, 5 and 10 ("via Thiruppullani Temple " will be prominantly displayed in all the buses. Bus fare is just Rs.4.50 Auto fare is Rs 120 and taxis charge between 200 to 300 depending on the vehicle. For anyother help you can contact me anytime on my cell 9443301091 Expecting you early here, dasan,T.Raguveeradayal andavan , "malvengu" <malvengu wrote:>> dear swami,> > please can anyone give the full details like how to reach thirupullani. > we are planning to visit trichy and kumbhakonam. whether its easier to > come via trichy or kumbhakonam? > how long it will take to reach thirupullani from Rameswaram. > > thanks> > mrs venkatesan>
