A grand Thirumanjanam was performed to Thayar, Perumal,Hayagreevan and Thirumangai Azhwar and Swami Desikan. Srisuktha, Ashtakshara, Nrusimha Homam also were performed on that day at Perumal Sannidhi. 16 Vidhyarthis from Vaduvoor Srimath Andavan Veda Pata Salai recited upanishads during thirumanjanam. Sama Vedam was also recited during sathumurai.Cauvery theertham was brought in procession from Nammandavan Mandapam along with svasthivachanam recital. Sahsranama Archanai was performed in the name of Prakrutham Srimath Andavan. The Thirunakshthram Celebration was corrdinated by SreeVaishnava Sathsampradaya Samrakshna Sabha. This year large number of sevarthis attended this function. We request all sishyas and abimanis to attend in thousands in future @ Therizhandhur. Dasan, Chithrakootam Ranganathan. I am P Sreenivasan of Besant Nagar , now settled in USA with my sons. Here we have acquired a land of 3 acres (54 grounds) for the construction of a temple /Andavan ashram.With the blessings of His holiness ,Srimushnam Andavan, we are sure that the project will come to shape within 2/3 years. We are regularly arranging monthly Tele upanyaasam of H.H for the past 7years.. and so far 60 slokas in Alavandars Sthothra Rathnam have been copleted., another 6 more to go. I will be coming to chennai for Deepavali for a month's stay.. How is your son doing. Has he learnt all 28 slokas of Desika Sthothram. Is he making use of the CDS I gave.
