H.H.SRIMATH TIRUKUDANTHAI ANDAVAN

CENTENARY MEMORIAL MANTAPAM AT KALYANAPURAM

His Holiness Srimath Vedanta Ramanuja Mahadesikan (TIRUKUDANTHAI ANDAVAN) 1907

– 1989, the 9th pontiff of Srirangam Srimath Andavan Asramam was very

well-known and had covered all places from Badrinath to Sethu on foot during the

26 years if his Sanyasramam (1963 to 1989). Two villages on the bank of river

Cauvery, Viz. Rayampettai and Kalyanapuram are closely connected with H.H.

Tirukudanthai Andavan. While the former Viz. Rayampettai was his birthplace.

In his poorvasrama as well as Acharya, he had visited Kalyanapuram several

times. Since Rayampettai happens to be the birthplace of Srimath Gopalarya

Mahadesikan (Tirukudanthai Desikan), H.H. Srimath Srimushnam Andavan has built

an Ashram there about 7 years ago to mark the tri-centenary of the Acharya.

Similarly, with a view to building an Asramam at Kalyanapuram as a mark of the

Centenary of Srimath Tirukudanthai Andavan, H.H.Srimath Srimushnam Andavan

performed Bhoomi Pooja on 4.4.2007 immediately after the centenary celebrations

last year in the land donated by Raju vadyar family at Kalyanapuram. The

building work is going on and H.H. visited Kalyanapuram on 23rd September, 2008

to personally see the progress of the work.

The Asramam at Kalyanapuram is expected to be ready by January, 2009.

However, since more funds are needed to complete the work, munificent

contribution are solicited.

Your Cheque/DD drawn in favour of “Srirangam Srimath Andavan Asramam†may

By order of H.H. Srimath Andavan
