Samprokshanam of the famous Sri Oppiliappan Koil

HH Srimad Andavan has graciously accepted to bear the Yaaga Salai expenses during the Samprokshanam of the famous Sri Oppiliappan Koil scheduled for the 8th February 2009. This is in response to the requests of the President of the Temple Trust Board & the Bhattachariars of the Temple.

 

HH Srimad Andavan readily agreed to this noble kainkaryam because Sri Oppiliappan Koil {along with Sri Sarangapani Koil} in Kumbakonam had a special place in the heart of His Acharya, HH Srimad Thirukkudanthai Andavan.

 

HH Srimad Andavan is already spending over Rs. 35,000/month for all the expenses at Sri Sarangapani Koil & Sri Nachiar Koil {Administrative, Salaries, Provisions etc.,} of the Madappalli Kainkaryam + Prasadam including those incurred during the Utsavams.

 

There are 19 items of expenditure concerning the Yaaga Saalai estimated at Rs. 30.00 lakhs {out of a total of Rs. 50.60 lakhs estimated for the Samprokshanam in all} to cover all expenses concerning the religious aspects of the Samprokshanam including the Thadeearadhanam for the Veda/Prabandha Parayana Pandits & the Bhattachariars & their Sambavanai.

 

Adiyen would appeal for your maximum support for this noble Kainkaryam undertaken by HH Srimad Andavan.
