Samasrayanam and Baranyasam (prapathi) are being carried out for many devotees by H.H., everyday. His Holiness will be camping in Chennai during this period. As in the previous years,during Dhanur month Aaraadanai, 11th January will be a special day, Koodaarai Vellum function. There will be a special function on that day as in the previous years. It is planned to organise and offer 1008 vessels of Chakkarai Pongal for Sri Venugopalan with Ubya Naachimaars. Devotees are invited to take part and if they would like the Ashramam Prasaadam in silver vessel the cost works out to Rs.2500 and the same prasadam in a brass vessel will cost Rs 300. Ashramam may be contacted for further information. On that day it will be a grand sight to watch 1008 prasaadam vessels lined up in front of Perumal Sannathi, in the immediate presence of H.H.Srimath Andavan Ashramam Calendar 16th Dec.
