Financial Support for Temple at Pazhayaseevaram (Kancheepuram district)

Dear members,

 

HH Andavan swami had visited our village Pazhayaseevaram for the Samprokshanam of the Laskmi Narasimha perumal temple on the hillock in our village. This temple is quite famous due to its beautiful location and also the annual Parvettai utsavam when Varadar comes to our village after Pongal each year which is a sight to behold.

 

|During his stay in our village, HH chanced to look at a dilapidated temple in front of our house where he was residing and desired to go and inspect the temple. HH visited this place which was full of bushes and it transpired that this was a very old Vaikuntanatha Perumal temple which was more than 1200 years old the Moola Vigrahams were still buried underneath.

 

He then tasked my father and father-in-law with the responsibility of recreating the temple again and blessed them to embark in this path. With HH's guidance and the blessings of the Lord and support from many well wishers all around, the temple was completed in 2006 and the Samproskshanam was performed under the auspicies of HH who graced the occasion and oversaw the Samprokshanam.

 

The temple is now functional and the dieties are resplendent in all their glory. With HH blessings, we have done prathishtai of Sri Laskhmi Hayagreeva perumal, Anjaneyar, Vedantha Desikar, Chakarath Azhwar and Sri Danvanthri sannidhis as well.

 

The people who are running the temple are both aged and have been undergoing mental and financial burden in running the temple. We have now decided that we will establish a trust to facilitate the upkeep and maintenance of the temple. In this context, we are seeking financial support from noble and philanthropic people to help us to ensure that HH's directive of reestablishing the temple is achieved in its entirety and the temple will attract more bhakthas who will be blessed by HIS grace.
