Guest guest
Dear sirs, I had the good fortune of reading the part I of Sri Padhuka sahasram recently. I have just started the part II. while on this subject, the following occurred to my mind. The current way of life keeps us busy from the morning up to evening.Even in the evenings, we reach home late and are unable to continue reading such wonderful treasures. Most of us- I mean those who have to travel constantly due to their profession- travel regularly and we get good amount of time to read only during our travel. But unfortunately we are unable to carry such heavy bound books- like Sri Padhuka sahasram- with us during our travel.Hence my suggestion is: Why not we split the part I and part II of Sri Padhuka Sahasram into smaller books, say 50/100 slokas per book and this will reduce the size of the book and make it easy to carry with us during our travel? Is it possible to implement this? best regards, A.Padmanaban Gill nagar, Chennai 94.
Guest guest
Dear Swamin In my humble opinion, books like Sri Padukasahasram, which are to be recited in home as parayana grantham should not be split into small books to enable us to carry them in our travel and recite them at our leisure. However I request that more learned swanins like Sri. R.R. can enlighten us in this matter. Guest guest
Dear Swamins, At the outset, let adiyen categorically refute the title of " learned swamin " being applied to adiyen who does not know even 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of the Sampradayam!! Sri Paduka Sahasram Moolam - slokhas only - is a small enough book that can be carried - no need to publish in parts. The Vyakyanam by their Holinesses Srimad Therazhundur Andavan & Srimad Akkur Andavan {as originally collated & published by the great & late Sri VK Ramanujachariar} are too voluminous & are in two fair sized volumes. Best Regards.
