Dear Bhagavathas

Over forty families around the U.S., including a few from India, have dialed and joined the "tele-ghosti" for the recently concluded traditional 21-day Adyayana Utsavam for Sri Venugopala Permual. We were also fortunate to get participation from over forty strong bhagavathas who enjoyed recitation in front of perumal. SRI would like to send "Pala Mathra Atshathai" for all those who participated in the Adyayana Utsavam. In order to mail the prasadam, we request you all to send your mailing address to Sri Poondi Ramanujam at poondiramaujam at your earliest convenience.

As we have done in the past, we will continue to celebrate the traditional 21-day Adyayana Utsavam in 2009 with Vaikunta Ekadesi on December 27, 2009. The outlook and tentative dates for the 2009 Traditional 21-day Adyayana Utsvam is presented for your information:

Dec 1, 2009: Tuesday - Thirumangai Alwar Thirunakshatram - Unaduayana Kalam begins

Dec 15, 2009: Tuesday - Dhanur Masam begins

Dec 18, 2009: Friday - Pagal Pathu Sevakalam begins

Dec 27, 2009: Sunday - Vaikunta Ekadesi and the beginning of Era Pathu Sevakalam

Jan 6, 2010: Wednesday - Namalwar Moksham

Jan 7, 2010: Thursday - Adyaya Utsavam concludes
