with heavy heart about the temple pooja kalams and how the pattars of the

temples are suffering to do the pooja kalams.

 

now it seems our srikaryam swamy has got instructions from our

acharyan to sort it out, without disturbing others. waiting for the

instructions from our srikaryam swamy how acharyan's shishyas have to send the

contributions for nithya pooja kainkaryam to our vaishnava temples.

 

in this connection, i wish to mention that in some temples we have to send some

new dothis, angavasthrams and new sarees also to our perumal and thayar.

This calculation is OK - the issue is whether such calculations turn out to be realities.

 

So far, we have only FOUR offers including an NRI who is already spending on his own and will route the future contributions through the Asramam.

 

Adiyen received many mails expressing their distress over the state of affairs BUT am yet to receive the kind of support needed to get this project off the ground.

rs.10500 x12 = rs.126000 due to cost fluctuation it may be between rs.126000 to rs.130000. 

 

in this connection if 100 families are made a group they can put rs.1000 per year  and will reach the target. so if we make 15 groups and 15 temples problem can be solved. all other 35 temples are well maintained at present.

 

it is for our chola nattu thiruppathi  calculation only. 

 

with our acharayan's blessings it may not be big task for all our acharan's shishyas

if it is marked for a family for a particular temple in a script by our asharamam it may be followed by the family for the comming years, for the next generation also. so indirectly we show nalla vazhi to the next generation.

the path is very clear and we require guidence from our RR swamy and

going into this with further more details:

 

we are having 40 divyadesams in our old cholanadu thiruppathigal.

in that we have to concentrate only on the following temples:

 

1. thiru anbil

2. thirupper nagar (koviladi)

3. thirukkandiyur

4. thirukkavithalam (kabisthalam)

5. thirukkannamangai

 

only 5 group is required with 500 families sharing rs.1000 per year

we collect this through our asharamam in a separate account and send the

thaligai items and vasthrams to the concerned temple every month through our

asharamam. still i have a hope we shall make it.

 

our RR swami with acharyan's blessings can do it. we need to inform our our

committment to RR swamin immediately.

1. Is these set of 4 temples finalised?

2. If someone has specific interest in a particular temple, can he make a specific donation to that temple?

HH has given the approval in principle BUT we have yet to finalise the Divya Desams. Adiyen is going back to Vaduvur & will discuss with HH again. Also Sri Venkatavaradhan is in the picture - he is a Committee member in charge of Administration of all Patasalas. Hw along with Ganapati Govindachariar Swami will be put in charge of the Temple Project.

 

 The response so far is good, very good indeed. So far, Rs 86,000 has committed on an annual basis & these are early days yet. According to HH, we need to spend about Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month per Temple - for Oil lamps, Minimum Thaligai, Sambavanai to Bhattars & Thaligai Kainkaryam. We can spend more on more temples this way later on depending upon the success of this project.

 

Adiyen is just a tool here - while thanking the Sevarthi for the sentiments expressed, cooperation from one & all is essential for at least  8-10 temples to be taken care off.

Adiyen is pleased to advise all Sevarthis that HH Srimad Srimushnam Andavan has Blessed this project. In fact, it is Project very close to His heart. Just like our Economic Reforms in India, where the rich are getting richer, some Temples & their associated kainkaryparars are reaping the benefits. Swamin, it is nice to see so many queries about supporting of Divya Desams by our srivaishnava brethern and you are the right counsel to dictate the modus operandi with the niyamanam of Srimath Andavan. Including your current offer, we have Rs. 98,000 committed on an annual basis.

This will take care of TWO temples. We are working out the operational modalities.

ANother Sevarthi wanting to remain anonymous has committed Rs. 3.00 Lakhs per year.

Most probably we will start off with Thiru Kannangudi & Kapisthalam - two Divya Desams that seem to be in need very badly.

We will get this going in April 2009 latest.

HH will decide on the Temples after His return to Chennai the coming Sunday. He is very happy and has Blessed these efforts.

Adiyen is pleased to advise all Sevarthis that HH Srimad Srimushnam Andavan has Blessed this project. In fact, it is Project very close to His heart. Just like our Economic Reforms in India, where the rich are getting richer, some Temples & their associated kainkaryparars are reaping the benefits. No doubt due to them, BUT, HH wants to do His best for the Divya Desams that are not having adequate incomes for some minimal operations.

 

HH has given the approval in principle BUT we have yet to finalise the Divya Desams. Adiyen is going back to Vaduvur & will discuss with HH again. Hw along with Ganapati Govindachariar Swami will be put in charge of the Temple Project.

 

 The response so far is good, very good indeed. So far, Rs 86,000 has committed on an annual basis & these are early days yet. According to HH, we need to spend about Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month per Temple - for Oil lamps, Minimum Thaligai, Sambavanai to Bhattars & Thaligai Kainkaryam. We can spend more on more temples this way later on depending upon the success of this project.

1. Is these set of 4 temples finalised? -

 

These are being selected by HH in consultation with our Sishyas & Abhimanis in the Zones where these temples are located. Most probably we will start off with Thiru Kannangudi & Kapisthalam - two temples in direst need!! Depending upon the funds, HH is looking at say 8-10 Temples, start off slow & steady and spend about Rs. 4000.00 per temmple per month and take it from there. The criteria will be manageability also.

 

2. If someone has specific interest in a particular temple, can he make a specific donation to that temple? -

 

May not always be possible - we are looking at a minimum Rs. 4,000 per month and direct this at the neediest temple. This cost will definitely escalate within 12 months to rs. 5,000 epr month. If someone wants to donate that kind of amount - well & good BUT this should for needy temples.

 

3. Who is the managing person in this group who will keep everyone else updated on the progress of this project? -

 

We are forming a special group who will coordinate with our Asramams in Kumbakonam, Oppiliappankoil, Chennai etc., They will handle this direct under HH's guidance. e.g. Rice & Oil will be purchased in WHolesale & kept at Kumbakonam/ Oppiliappnkoil and distributed fortnightly or monthly, similarly the honorarium to Bhattar/Cooks will also be done by our managers of those asramams. Ganapati Govindachariar Swami {Principal - Our Vaduvur Veda Patasala} & Brihaspathi Venkatavaradhan {Committe Member for our patasalas} will handle this on a regular basis.

 

Adiyen will coordinate these efforts and will keep all group members informed. That is adiyen's Bhagyam!!

1. Is these set of 4 temples finalised?

2. If someone has specific interest in a particular temple, can he make a specific donation to that temple?

3. Who is the managing person in this group who will keep everyone else updated on the progress of this project?

3. thirukkandiyur4. thirukkavithalam (kabisthalam)5. thirukkannamangaionly 5 group is required with 500 families sharing rs.1000 per yearwe collect this through our asharamam in a separate account and send the

thaligai items and vasthrams to the concerned temple every month through our asharamam. still i have a hope we shall make it.our RR swami with acharyan's blessings can do it. we need to inform our our committment to RR swamin immediately.
