LAKSHA DEEPAM FROM 13 APR09&TO CONCLDE IN PRESENCE OF SRIMADANDAVAN AT DOMBIVALI

Sri Krishna Sabha published the book "Sri Lakshmi Sahasram" slokas book on 10 Dec 2007.This was followed by release of Audio CD recitation of these slokas recited by Sri Vedanta Desika Mahila Samithi members on Sarvadari Thirunakshtram day of H H Srimad Andavan Sri Rangaramanuja Mahadesikan o 5 June 2008. As the Virodhi varusha Thirunakshtram of H H is fast approaching, Sri Krishna Sabha,Mumbai & Sri Vedanta Desika Mahila Samithi,Mumbai have organised a Laksha Deepam Utsavam. Lighting of 10 000 Deepams will start on 13 Apr 2009 and repeated on every Tuesdays and Fridays at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple,Srimad Andavan Ashram,Dombivali. The Laksha Deepa Utsavam concludes on Sunday,17 May 2009 in the presence of H H Srimad Andavan.After Mangala Haarthi, H H will be requested to make a Anugraha Bashanam. On this day, the members of the Sri Vedanta Mahila Samithi are completing One Lakh Recitations of Sri Lakshmi Saharam slokas.With the Anugraham and Divine blessings of H H ,the function has been arranged.
