New Temple coming up at Chennai Andavan Ashramam

Through an earlier e mail to the group, we have posted an invitation from Andavan Ashramam for the forthcoming Maha Samprokshanam of new temple constructed at our Chennai Ashramam premises for Sri padmavathi Sametha Lord Srinivasa. The function is scheduled for 9th April,2009, Panguni, Hastham. Las t week end,with the permission of H.H., I captured some photographs of the temple, to give a preview to our members.The photos has the main base,(peedam), in 4 directions, with Ashta Lakshmi images carved, two on each face.There is also Vimana Venkateswarar ( sorry, that photo is at 90 degrees).On that day Moolavar was not installed. Almost all other idols are in position.
