dress code ?

I agree with the principle to practise dress and food code to the best of our ability. Our Kind Acharya will bless us with the result. In this connexion I humbly request to be permited to share my most recent experience of Acharya's grace and power which overrules those of even the Praabrahmam.

A samprokshanam was planned for the Prasanna Raghunathan Temple at Kadayakuduivillage, 6 KM rom Pudukkottai, by the successors of late Rao Bahadur Krishnamachariar, retd. Diwan of Pudukkottai and also of Banganapalli. As this is a family temple, the grandsons took charge of the planning and approached the Acharyan H H Srimushnam Andavan to bless the proposal.The Acharya could not make the trip but blessed the project.

Things went on very well per schdule and the pouring down of the blessed theertham on the kalasam was about to be performed at 10 am on 23 March 2009.There was a good

lot of crowd of illagers and officials collected for the function. Holding the Kudam on the hand the Brahaspati said the Maha Samprokshanam was being successfully completed solely because of the Grace of the Acharyan, H H Srimushnam Andaven.To prove the point, he cited the example of Dasarata exercising his option to crown Sri Rama without seeking the opinion, discretion,approval and blessings of his Acharya Vasishta. Being asked by the Emperor Dasaratha, Vashista had to and did make the arrangements for the Coronation. But lo! the Pattabhishekam of Rama did not happen as Acharya's Anugraham was not there. Even the Parabrahmam could do nothing only.

On the present ocasion, when the sacred water was being poured on the Kalasam, the effects were unbelievable, marvellous and beyond all logic. The bright sunny sky suddenly become cloud bearing and dark .In a trice, the clouds formed a big square above, surrounding the Kalasam. Three Garuda birds appeared from nowhere and circled the Kumbham during the pouring of the water. Thus the sacred program got completed with all the majesty and grandeur.

The above, I believe, provide ample evidence and proof of the power of Achrya's thinking and blessing.

I crave excuse if I have done or stated anything that does not beget the approval of our Acharya H H Srimushnm Andavan.

Regarding dress code,I fully agree with my illustrious younger brother Sriman Raghavan that let us not endlessly go on discussing the dress code. First let us follow the principles of Desika Sampradayam and be guided by the teachings of our great Acharya Paramparai and gradually get into the groove of the system and be blessed by our Acharya Sarvabhowman Srimath Andavan.

Adiyen would like to share my views on the subject "Dress Code"Adiyen have no hesitation in acknolwedging that our Great Acharya Srimad Andavan is higher than the Lord Himself for all His sishyas like us. His Holiness' Grace and Kindness is unparallelled. His Sowlabya is par excellence. His Holiness has never ever discriminated among His sishyas. While we are unable to adhere to the prescribed items of food as ordained by Swami Desika in Ahaara Niyama, we are at least trying to avoid objectionable items like onion, garlic etc, It is encouraging to note that the efforts in this direction are being taken by the younger lot too in our great Srivaishnava community, these days. Perhaps we should treat the debate on this topic closed as we have enough divisions amongst our own community and a true Sishya of our Great Acharya would never entertain occasions / arguments for further divisions. WE HAVE DISCUSSED ENOUGH ABOUT ONLY DRESS CODE , BUT WE HAVE TO FOLLOW OUR AHCARYAN`S OTHER TEACHINGS ALSO - THAT WE ARE NOT DOING,

MOST OF US ARE FACING PROBLEMS BECAUSE OF OTHER COMMUNITY AND

POLICIES OF POLITICIANS

FOR WHICH WE HAVE TO FOLLOW THE MESSAGES OF ACHARYAN ONLY

NUMEROUS DIVERSIONS AMONGST THE YOUNGER GENERATION (I DO NOT WANT BRIEF DISCUSSIONS), IT HAS TO BE RECTIFIED

ONLY ANDAVAN IS THINKING ABOUT THIS ALWAYS, AND NOT OTHERS

WE HAVE TO ADVISE OUR FUTURE GENERATION STRICTLY TO FOLLOW ACHARYAN

FOR WHICH WE NEED FREQUENT MEETINGS WITH YOUNGER GENERATIONS WITH ACHARYAN INSTEAD OF DEBATING ABOUT DRESS COME

MOST OF US ARE FOLLOWING DRESS CODE FOR THEIR BENEFITS ONLY AND NOT FOR THE SAKE OF COMMUNITY
