Guest guest Posted April 9, 2009 Report Share Posted April 9, 2009 Dear Swamin Adiyen is very happy to say that " Pankuni Uthram' festival was celebrated by Sri Desika Bakthas with reverence and dedication at Muscat Sri Srinivasan with SriDevi and Bhoo DEvi ernjoyed with smile the " Saranagathi Gathyam " recited by the bakthas . Sri U.Ve. Govindarajan Swamy who came all along from Chengalpattu with all garlands etc etc conducted the festival with utmost dedication. He explained the meanings of " Sri Vaikunta Gathyam" in a nutshell. Sri U.Ve. Ananthan SWamy lead the " Vedaparayana ghoshti" Sri Desika bakthas notably, Sri U.Ve. Rajan Swamy , Sri U.Ve. Venkatesan Swamy and anothr Sri V.Ve. Venkatesan Swamy took the lead in organising the festival in a fitting manner ( other bakthas, pl forgive, adiyen does not know your thirunamams) Sri Andal goshti, lead by Smt. Chitra, Smt Suchitra, and other mathu siromanis took active part from their side in preparing prasadam, bakshyam, kolam etc besides reciting SWami Desikan's Stotras It was indeed a solemn occassion for all SWami Desika bakthas to assemble and spend the time with the "smaranam ' ' of Sriman Narayanan Adiyen is blessed with the anugraha of Sri Hayagreevan to participate in this noble sath sangamSarvam Sree Hayagreeva preeyathaamDasanUruppattur SoundararajanSrikainkarya Get an email ID as yourname or yourname.
