relevance of doshas and 'pariharams to Prpannas

At the outset, Adiyen seeks apology if this topic is outside the scope of this

forum.But I would be grateful if this doubt of mine could be clarified.

 

Is prapatti only for the " soul(jivatma) " ? does a prappana need to perform

pariharam(s)during adverse dasa/buktis/transits as advised by jyotishas.Even

brihat parasara hora suggests propitiation of " other deities " only for all

planets except for Budha (Vishnu amsam).
