Guest guest Posted April 12, 2009 Report Share Posted April 12, 2009 Dear Thiruppullani Abhimanis,  The Panguni Brahmothsavam at Thiruppullani concluded with  Theerthawari at Sethukkarai with the Divya Kataksham of Perumal and Chakkaravarthi Thirumakan on Peria and Siriya Thiruvadis respectively. After nearly 40 years, on all the days of the Brahmothsavam, Rig and Yajur veda parayanam followed Perumal on Thiruveethi purappadu. Veda parayanam was arranged on the Niyamanam of HH Srirangam Srimad Andavan . Sri Jagannathachar vathyar, Thiruchchanur Andavan Ashrama Patasalai with 8 of his disciples and Sri Srinivasan, Vathyar, Thiruppullani Patasala with vidyarthis here performed this kainkaryam. On the day of theerththawari, (it is our bhagyam) Navalpakkam Sri Dr. Vasudeavachar, Kanchipuram Sri Sadagopa Thathathachar and Ushathpakkam sri Vijayaraghavachar also joined and followed Perumal and Raman with Veda Parayanam from Thiruppullani to Sethukkarai and again from Sethukkarai to Thiruppullani after Chakraththazvar Theerththawari at Sri Sethu and Thirumanjanam for Perumal, Raman and Chakratthazwar at Sethukkarai.    On all the 11 days of the festival (including Vidaiyatri uthsavam) thatheeyara dhanam was performed at Srimad Andavan Ashramam.  Please enjoy this slide show of theerthawari photos at http://s30.photobucket.com/albums/c320/rajamragu/?action=view & current=48aa3e14.pbwdasan,T.Raguveeradayal Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
