Guest guest
Dear Swamin Adiyen submits the following inviting your comments At Tirumala, when Kalyanothsavam etc are performed, angavasthram is offered by the DEvasthanam to the main devotee( angavasthram contains Thiruman , Conch, Chakra etc) and the grahastha wears it as a garland Adiyen happens to observe from the very long time that angavasthram/ shawl/ sold in the shops of famous concerns contains " Thiruman", " Conch", " Chakra", and vaishnavites purchase and wear it as "angavasthram" in the hip Sastra says that upper portion of the "sareera' is " Methya Sareeram" and below the hip it is " Amethya sareeram". Is it sastra sammatham to wear/drape the symbols of ayudhas of Sriman Narayanan in the hip as angavasthram ? Will it not be an "apacharam" ( irreverence etc) Kindly commentSarvam Sree Hayagreeva preeyathaamDasanUruppattur SoundararajanSrikainkarya Get your own website and domain for just Rs..1,999/year.* Click here!
