(from March 2005 Sri Ranganatha Padhuka issue)  " ............... HH reached Thiruvahindrapuram for Sri Desikan Uthsavam on 27.09.1998. HH offered Mangalasasanam at all the Sannathis in Sri Devanatha Perumal Temple with full Honours, camped in that Divya Desam for five days to take part in the Purattasi Sri Desika Uthsavam and visited the grihams of many Sishyas for Ponnadi and Dolothsavam. THE TEPPOTSAVAM AT THIRUVAHINDRAPURAM !! A fascinating event occured at Thiruvahindrapuram; an Ashramam Sishya organises the Teppotsavam usually, but this year the River Gatilam was bone dry without a drop of water to be seen anywhere for miles. It gives great pleasure to keep on reading about the Divine Incidents occurring due the Grace of Our Andavan Swamigal. It instils more & more deep rooted desire to cling to The Lotus Feet of AchArya sArvabhoumAs. What is disturbing the minds of very many of us ,followeres and abhimAnis can be summarised as follows : It is known that we are all Bagvad Ramanuja Dasas. It is known we all have one goal of getting Blessed by Our AchAryAs to become eligible for the sole goal of this MANUSHYA JANMA viz SaranAgathi thro The AchAryA's KaTAksham. We are thrown to pieces by our KarmAs and made to face the ups & downs of Life. That it is common to all is also known to us by The Teacings of Great Men. But why then we are subjecting ourselves to "DHVESHA" ? Lord gives the right advice that to be "ADHVESHTI" is one of the prerequisites of gaining The Grace of The Lord. But with all awreness, that we should get rid of this quality with all the force & will at our command and our sincere intention to do so, Our mAyan repaeatedly make us entertain the quality of DHVESHA, which is root cause of all human sufferings. We keep chanting His name, do service to the BhagavathAs, the needy & poor and so on. But again and again fall prey to the fits of anger and dhvEsha. With our failing capacities to maintain equillibrium under all circumstances, we can only think of praying Our AchAryAs to Bless us with the inner strength to fight the Dhvesha among ourselves due to differences in status, knowledge, subsects and so on . Some miracle has to happen within each of us to accept all as ONE and ONE as ALL. We sincerely Pray our AchAryA Perunthagai to Bless us to control and get rid of the qualities which are undesirable by his Divine kaTAksha.
