Respected All:

The politicians in South Brunswick are using dirty politics to prevent us from constructing our place of worship. In order to stop their underhanded tactics, we need your support and your presence at an upcoming Council Meeting. The only way to stop their scheme is to call them, email them, & show up to the next meeting and have our voice be heard. PHONE NUMBERS, EMAIL ADDRESSES, AND MEETING INFORMATION ARE BELOW.

Currently our proposed Temple does not require any variances. In other words, we have submitted a plan that complies with the South Brunswick Land Development Ordinance. Under current regulations the politicians have no reason to block our application.

Understanding this, the politicians have resorted to changing the law at the last minute, to make it impossible to comply with. Our property is serviced by a septic system. One third of the properties zoned as Rural Residential (which our land is) utilize septic systems. South Brunswick Township does not provide any public sewer connections and has no intention of providing a public sewer system to these areas. In fact, the closest public sewer system is over 2 miles away and is located in

another Township.

The Council is trying to impose, at the last minute, additional restrictions to our plan that will make it difficult for us to go forward. On Tuesday, May 5, 2009, the South Brunswick Governing Body considered an amendment to its Land Use Ordinance, which would require that all houses of worship be serviced by public sewer. The fact is, the Township is not providing a public sewer system, but is going to make a law that requires the Temple to have a public sewer system.

This Ordinance amendment will be presented at the next council meeting on May 12, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at Town Hall. WE NEED YOUR PRESENCE.

WE MUST MAKE OUR VOICE HEARD AGAINST THIS TYPE OF DISCRIMINATION. CHANGING THE LAW AT THE LAST MINUTE TO PREVENT US FROM BUILDING A HOUSE FOR GOD IS UNACCEPTABLE.

We are fighting against time. We need to group 200 to 250 people to attend the council meeting in person. Each and everyone from our community, and supporters of our cause residing in South Brunswick, and neighboring places, must attend the next Township meeting to voice our concern.
