Dear ALL,

By now, you would got an email detailing the situation we are in with respect to construction of Hindu Temple in South Brunswick, NJ. WE DONT HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT BETWEEN NOW AND THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL MEETING ON TUESDAY, MAY 12th 2009 @ 7 PM.

WE NEED TO STOP THE COUNCIL FROM PASSING AN ORDINANCE WHICH WOULD PREVENT US FROM BUILDING A TEMPLE IN OUR SOUTH BRUNSWICK NEIGHBORHOOD !!!!

YOU COULD HELP US IN A BIG WAY BY CALLING THE COUNCILMEN AND THE MAYOR OR EMAILING THEM. THE DETAILS ARE GIVEN BELOW.

BELIEVE US !! THIS WILL MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE IN SAVING THIS TEMPLE PROJECT!!!!!

1. Call/ Email (PlEASE DO BOTH) ALL The South Brunswick Politicians BELOW and Tell them their underhanded politics are UNACCEPTABLE.

Here are some pointers to what you need to talk or write to the councilmen.

1. Introduce yourself saying who you are.

2. Say something like "I am talking to you (writing this letter to you) in light of recent developments with regard to an application filed for building a temple in South Brunswick. NJ."

3. Tell them that "It is very sad to know that the township council is trying to amend an ordinance with regard to place of worship which would prevent us from praying at the temple. THIS IS VERY WRONG. YOUR ACTIONS MAKES US FEEL EXTREMELY ANGRY AND FURIOUS"

4. Also tell them "THIS IS PLAIN SIMPLE UNFAIR"

5. Tell them that "The proposed temple is an another example of how this great country is in putting all the cultures of the world together"

6. Tell them "To vote NO to Ordinance 2009-22 that would hinder the construction of the temple."

PLEASE HELP US IN THIS CRITICAL HOUR !! YOUR FIVE MINUTES (of calling and/or emailing councilmen) CAN SAVE THIS PROJECT AND HELP US CREATE AN ABODE FOR LORD ALMIGHTY IN OUR SOUTH BRUNSWICK NEIGHBORHOOD !!
