When Lord Krishna was about to leave for his holy abode at the end of Dwapara Yugam, Uthavar - a dear friend of Krishna pleaded him not to leave him alone. Lord krishna advised him to go to Badrikashramam and meditate upon him and reach his abode when it was time appropriate.
