This eBook has been authored by Smt kalyani Krishnamachari, SrI V. Madhava Kannan of SrIrangam and aDiyEn. The Thiruneermalai sthalam has the uniqueness of having the darSanam of PerumAL in ninRa (standing), irunda (sitting), kidantha (lying dowm) and nadantha (walking) kOlams. Anciently known as KhANDavanam, aitheekam has it that the kshetram was visited by SrI KrishNa and arjuna during mahAbhAratha times. This divya desam has had the magalaasaasanam by Thirumangai AzhwAr (who weathered terrible rains and floods for over 6 months to have darSanam of the emperumAn at this divya desam) and BhUtattAzhwAr who sings lofty praises of the kshetram in an iraNDaam Thiruvandathi paasuram. The eBook consists of commentaries for the paasurams (translated) from SrImad ANDavan, SrI PeriyavAcchAn Pillai, SrI uttamUr VeerarAghavAchAriAr swAmi and SrI P.B ANNangarAchAriAr swAmi.
