Eventhough all of them can not be said of great value, his work should be appreciated in as much as he is a retired teacher and does the job single-handedly spending atleast 10 t0 12 hours per day. But his collection contains only Tamil books. From "kallaadam" a Tamil grammer book ( there is a word "kallaadam kaRRanidam sollaadaathe" (do not argue with a man who learnt kallaadam) published in 1868 to present day "ChEri" a variety of books can be found there and those interested can download them also.

There is one Sri Pollachi Nasan who is releasing atleast one Ebook per day on his website at www.thamizhmanam. net. He has a very great collection of books -- books, magazines, monthly, weekly even brochures printed before independance. Tirelessly he scans every page of the books, do some cosmetic work with photoshop, convert them to pdf and release them on his site. So far he has saved 748 books. Eventhough all of them can not be said of great value, his work should be appreciated in as much as he is a retired teacher and does the job single-handedly

spending atleast 10 t0 12 hours per day. But his collection contains only Tamil books. From " kallaadam " a Tamil grammer book ( there is a word " kallaadam kaRRanidam sollaadaathe " (do not argue with a man who learnt kallaadam) published in 1868 to present day " ChEri " a variety of books can be found there and those interested can download them also.
