adiyen dasasya vignaapanam. The attachment with this post is actually a supplement to Madhura Kavi Srinivasa Iyengar's " Nappinnai pirattiyar thirumanam " which I have already uploaded to " Scribd " and downloaded and enjoyed by many. Many might have found it difficult to follow the high standard of Madhura Kavi. This attachment here, is like a gist of what Madhura Kavi wrote. Written in very simple style, every one can enjoy the story of Nappinnai about whom there is not much reference in our literatures.

Attaching this has another reason also. This chapter is taken from a book published by Sri Srivilliputhur Kannan Swami who holds the copy right of the book also.  This is   " Sri Maha Bhagavatham " in Tamil written by one Sri Arulaladasar aka nellinakar madhurakavi  Varadaraja Iyengar. (madhura Kavi again) This Varadaraja madhura kavi's work on entire Bhagavatham is published in 5 volumes and they are available with Smt K.Rama, 91, Thulasinga Mudali Street, Perambur, Chennai and the book was published in 1989. And hence after 20 long years whether she is available at the given address or shifted elsewhere is not known. But the publisher is at Srirangam, it is reliably learnt. Copies can be had from him also. So, adiyen's first purpose to attach one chapter only here is to introduce this great kainkaryam and thereby enabling desiring bhagavathas to get the books direct. And the second one -- sometime back, smt. Jayashree has elaborated the phalans of reading bhagavatham daily. This will definitely serve the purpose as the entire 5 volumes are in such a simple style. And if the elders begin to read such simple Tamil verses, youngsters also may develop a taste for reading Tamil which may help them in enjoying Azhwars.
