Visit to Hedathal,Immavu,Sosale and Srirangarajapuram

Namaskaram.

 

As you all know i have been recording the swamis short Upanyasa for Pearls of

Wisdom and also Video recording the Swamis Chathurmasya Upanyasam which he is

delivering at Srimath Andavan Ashram on Sunday. On 30th August he wil deliver

last Upanyasam of series . I had not met Swamy at ashram since three weeks as

he was busy in some writing work and he was also feeling tired, I did not

trouble him, so next week onwards I will start the Pearls of Wisdom work, Lot of

people have sent lot of questions, I will get the reply from Swamy and it will

come as " Pearls of Wisdom "

 

I had not gone to Ashram since three week ( I have been meeting at Upanyasam

venue every Sunday).Then on 12th instant I had some work near Ashram, around 12

Noon I landed in Ashram and went inside then Somebody told to take the Prasadam

, they handed over the Vazai ellai ,but Swamy to told them to give theertham

first and then Prasadam, Then Swamy asked my welfare, I waited for all to go

then I Prostrated to him My specks which i kept in pocket fell twice , Swamy

observed this. Then I told him i am going to Guudulpet , Hedatrhale and other

places on Bike Pilgrimages ith Geetha ( My wife), Then he took some Manthra

Akshathai and prayed in Yogic Dhyana , and blessed me. Then he told he is tired

and this week he may not be able to do the Upanyasam in Andavan Ashram ( I was

also thinking what to do , because i had to visit lot of places and the rush

back to Bangalore by 3 Pm directly to Andavan Ashram, I think Swamy was aware of

this , ) My main intention of visiting Hedathale

and Sosale is, Hedathale I want to capture the Sri Ranga Maha Gurus birthplace

and house use it for forth coming article on Hedathale Temples and glories in

Pearls of Wisdom Article and in Sosale I wanted to capture the Moola Moorthy ( H

H Mysore Andavans Birth place and Sundar Kidambi Anna's native) I want to print

and laminate and present the photograph to H H Srmath Andavan during the

celebration ( But I could not do so because of pressing Office meetings today )

.. Incidentally H H Andavan Swamiji wants to see me in connection with Building a

Mani Mantapam for Ellu Tha Tha H H Katandethi Andavan at Katandethi.

Then I took leave of Swami at that time he called Dr.C R Ramaswamy Mama and

asked him to get his ( Swamis) Specks , Then DR mama gave the specks with box

and swami immediately took the the Specks out and gave the box to me and told me

to keep my specks in the box, I told Swamy had the box in the house, swamy wil

not leave me, then finally i convinced Swamy . I really fortunate to have such a

loving and caring acharya , credit goes to my Sadagopan Mama ,for guiding me to

proper acharyan. My Acharyan is really a Karuna moorthy, tears started rolling ,

i am very very fortunate to have such a loving and caring Acharyan.

 

Then I showed the first chapter of his Kannada Book BELAKU , he has given me the

Anugraham to convert the same in English for the reach of larger audience ,my

wife Geetha is reading in Kannada, I am translating it in English, My sister

Jayashree of USA is fine tuning it, It will be published in Book form ( Not

e-book). He told the translation is nice and told that I should complete it and

then give to him for Proof reading then i can get it printed,

 

Then I took leave and told swami I would like to visit the Sri Ranga Gurus Birth

Place and House also , he told ok ( I did not tell him that i am going to take

Pic of the house etc, but I am sure my Koornamoorthy would have known it in his

Yogic trans)

 

Then on 15 August i left along with Geetha on bike I started very late as it was

continuously raining. Then in Evening we reached Nanjangud and reached a place

known as Immavu, it is also very old temple dedicated to Lord Shriram, Lakshmana

and Sita Pirati. Here the specialty is Lord Rama is in chaturbhuja and also his

younger brother Lakshmana is also giving us darshan with Chaturbhuja. The temple

is under care of Non Brahmins and it was in bad shape I have taken the picture

and Idols were without Vastharam ( as policy in pbase we cannot host Perumal

Pictures without Vastharam) I will try to host in Picasa etc and let you know .

I just want to showcase the beauty of the moorthies nothing else. The Main

Then we reached Hedathale , Sri NArayan Mama ( Archakar ) greeted us and then I

went and took few snaps of Thirumaligai of Sriranga Maha Guru ( Asmath Acharyans

Acharyan ) from outside. Then we went inside and had the darshan of

Thirumaligai, but did not take any picture as mark of respect. Then had darshan

of Srikantha Perumal , Lakshminarasimhan Perumal and Venugopala and other

Devatha ,Acharyan and Alwars etc. I had a divine experience at Sannidhi of

Lakshminarasimha Swamy ( Asmath Acharyan had told about the Power of the lord,

please await an article about the same in pearls of wisdom shortly) I will ask

about it to Acharyan , not only me even Geetha had the experience, i am sure it

We stayed in Mysore overnight and next day morning we went to Sosale. Sosale is

very dear tome on two counts One , it was native of Sosale known as SOSLE

JODITHAR (TWINS) who played a very important role in installing my Great

Grandfather H H Katandethi Andavan ( Formerly known as Thirukudanthai Andavan) ,

source is there in the life history book of my ellu that tha and also Andavan

Ashram history book published in 60's. Then secondly it is the Birth Place of H

H Mysore Andavan and Our Sundar Kidambi Anna's (www.prapatti.com) native Place

(Sosale) . God willing i will be able present you independent website for

Sosale temple shortly.

 

Then from there we went to Srirangarajapuram Sri Venugoplan Temple. The pictures

Then we went to Bannur Kothandaraman temple and Ittuvalli ( Sri Ranga Samudhra)

Venugopala temple, both the place temple were closed. We reached our base

bangalore at 6 Pm o 16th instant. This time due to bad weather and rain we could

visit very less temples, I sure with GOD's grace I will have a four wheeler of

my own and continue to do the Sevai.

 

On Sunday 30th August evening after the Swamys Upanyasam i am planning to to

give Bhagavathas the post card size print out of all three perumals of Hedathale

( I have got 100 phots printed) . I also invite you to Srimath Andavan Ashram ,

Jayanagar to join me in the celebration of my Ellu Tha-Tha H H Srimath

Katandethi Andavan Thirunakshatram on 30th August 2009 at 10 Am.
