Guest guest Posted August 25, 2009 Report Share Posted August 25, 2009 Dear Swamin/ Mathusri In a nutshell ( though it is not possible to minimise even by an ablest vidvan--who am I to attempt to giove in a nut shell) "SRI" denotes wealth, beauty, prosperity, auspiciousness etc etc " SRI" is the Empeuman's chief Consert " SRI" is the mother of Universe( all prapnacham) "SRI" is worshipped by Brahma,Rudra, Indra, all Devas, and by all bakthas' "SRI" is Periya Pirattiyar i.e.Rankanayaki thayar "SRI" is Mahalakshmi Mahalakshmi is "SRI" "SRI" is the mother Goddess "SRI" acts as mediator between us and Emperuman for our salvation "SRI" is worshipped by all as "Divine Mother" "SRI" accompanies Emperuman on all HIs Avathars ( Nrusimha Rama, Krishna etc) to earth Emperuman is praised by Vedas, Sastras etc as "Lakshmidharan", "Sreedharan" Emperuman bears Mahalakshmi just jem bears it's lustre, flower bears it's fragrance> This is eternal relationship. Can you imagine a flower without fragrance? No. Like this, bakthas cannot imagine Emperuman without Mahalakshmi Mahalakshmi is always ith Emperuman. This is delioghtful company/relation. "SRI" is united like moon and moonlight with Emperuman. Emperuman derives all , because of HIS "SRIPATHITHATHVA" THe supremacy of Emperuman is based on HIs divine association with"SRI".
