Adiyen dasan,In the issue of Nrisimhapriya August 09, Deepavali Nirnayam was discussed and according to certain authority published and as per HH Sri Jeer, since there are two Amavasayas in Thluam, the second one occuring on16th November ( Monday) has to be taken for observing Narakachathurdasai snaanam which should be observed on 14th late night and 15th early morning.. This needs clarificatiopn for followers of Andavan Asramam. Secondly, If Asramam calendar has to be followed, then Narakachathurdasai snanam has to be observed on 16/10/09 early morning ( Friday) and Amavasya /Thula sankramanam has to be observed on 17/10/09 saturday by those in U.S. in view of time difference.
