Visual treat of Kaidala and Settikere Temple

On 20st instant My friend Sri Elangovan the Official Photographer of Kumudham

Jothidam had come to Bangalore and asked can i take him to some nearby temples

in Melnadu (Karnataka).I told Ok .Then on 21st I told him i will take him to

Setikere and nearby temples. Due to bad weather we started little late,We were

nearing Tumkur, I suddenly read a board that Kaidala is only 12 Kms in bypass

road. So I told Change of Plans and First we visited Kaidala. Sri Jai Simha

Bhattar greeted me. Then Elangovan took Picture for the Magazine from the High

end Camera , by that time State Archeological Departments Dy.Director Arrived.

Then He enquired about us. Then he appreciated our work and told I can come and

meet him at his Bangalore Office,

 

Then we Left for Settikere and we reached there , Sri Umesh Bhatar was waiting

for us. Then Elangovan completed his task. I am sure you will remember my Appeal

on Setikere temple in the Year 2005. I am happy to share the information that

Temple has some Improvement. Now Perumal has some Vasthram and and some well

wishers are visiting and donating some money. Recently Navarathraa Usthavam was

celebrated.

 

Even though my Friend Sri Elongovan has captured the pictures for Magazine , I

thought i should capture the same in my camera and present it before you.

I have put two Picture of 2009 without Vasthram so that you can see the

Scultural marvel. I consulted the elders before putting the same and they told

the Dress and other ornaments are carved so if you put it on display without

Vasthram for display it is ok.
