Guest guest
adiyen dasasya vignaapanam. All are quite aware that whatever adiyen wrote here or in adiyen's blog http://thiruppul.blogspot.com  are from the books published by the then Triplicane Tamil Changam very ably presided by Sri Pa.Re. Thirumalai Iyengar. adiyen have already said in these groups that adiyen is more interested to read the prefaces by Sri Pa.Re. Thi. than reading the contents of the book, as those prefaces always provide a new list of rare treasures of old books from which he used to extensively quote.   Just yesterday, few more books reached me  and Sri Parthasarathiyammaan paamaalai is one among them (published in 21-5-1950) It may be termed as " Parthasarathy Panchaasath " since it contains 50 verses on Parthasarathi of Triplicane, each ending with " அலà¯à®²à®¿à®•à¯à®•à¯‡à®£à®¿à®ªà¯ பாரà¯à®¤à¯à®¤à®šà®¾à®°à®¤à®¿ à®…à®®à¯à®®à®¾à®©à¯‡ " . Actually after reading the preface of the book, adiyen is a bit ashamed as that preface made me realise that adiyen is ignorant of the great scholars of our Ramanathapuram area.  The said Paamaalai has been written by one Ramanusa Kavirayar about whom adiyen never heard of. My friends here who also have love for Tamil also did not know anything about him. Sri P.R.Thirumalai Iyengar quotes from one " Thiruvenkata anupoothi " again written by the same Ramanusa Kavirayar.   Here is a small hint about Ramanusa kavirayar by Sri Thirumalai Iyengar himself. " இராமாநà¯à®šà®®à®µà®¿à®°à®¾à®¯à®°à¯ இவà¯à®µà®¿à®°à®¾à®®à®¨à®¾à®¤ பà¯à®°à®¤à¯à®¤à®µà®°à¯†à®©à¯à®ªà®¤à¯, à®…à®·à¯à®Ÿà®¾à®µà®¤à®¾à®©à®®à¯ வீராசாமிகà¯à®•à®µà®¿à®°à®¾à®¯à®°à¯ " à®®à¯à®•à®µà¯ˆà®µà®°à¯ செலà¯à®µà®©à¯†à®™à¯à®•à¯‹à®©à¯ à®®à¯à®±à¯ˆà®¤à¯à®¤à®®à®¿à®´à®¾à®šà®¿à®°à®¿à®¯ னிராமாநà¯à®šà®©à¯à®©à®¾ à®®à¯à®©à¯à®©à¯ கவிராயன௠" எனப௠பாடà¯à®¤à®²à®¾à®©à®±à®¿à®¯à®²à®¾à®®à¯............ இவரே அகà¯à®•à®¾à®²à®¤à¯à®¤à¯ à®®à¯à®±à¯à®ªà®Ÿà®¤à¯ தமிழ௠நூலà¯à®•à®³à¯ˆ அசà¯à®šà®¿à®Ÿà®¤à¯ தொடஙà¯à®•à®¿à®¯à®µà®°à¯. தமிழிற௠சிறநà¯à®¤ திரà¯à®µà®³à¯à®³à¯à®µà®°à¯ திரà¯à®•à¯à®•à¯à®±à®³à¯ˆà®ªà¯ பரிமேலழகரà¯à®°à¯ˆà®¯à¯à®Ÿà®©à¯ அதறà¯à®•à¯à®¤à¯ தெளிபொரà¯à®³à¯ விளகà¯à®•à®¤à¯à®¤à¯à®Ÿà®©à¯à®®à¯ அசà¯à®šà®¿à®Ÿà®¤à¯ தொடஙà¯à®•à®¿à®©à®¾à®°à®¿à®µà®°à¯‡.இவரே டà¯à®°à¯, தாமà¯à®¸à®©à¯ கிளாரà¯à®•à¯à®•à¯, ரானஸà¯, போபà¯, வினà¯à®¸à®¿à®²à¯‹ à®®à¯à®¤à®²à®¿à®¯ பெரிய ஆஙà¯à®•à®¿à®²à¯‡à®¯à®°à¯à®•à®Ÿà¯à®•à¯à®¤à¯ தமிழறிவை ஊடà¯à®Ÿà®¿à®¯à®µà®°à¯. வினà¯à®¸à®¿à®²à¯‹ அகராதி இவரà¯à®¤à®µà®¿à®¯à®¾à®©à¯‡ நிறைவேறியத௠" (சேத௠நாடà¯à®®à¯ செநà¯à®¤à®®à®¿à®´à¯à®®à¯ பக௠48)    If anybody can provide more details on the said Raamaanusa kavirayar, adiyen will be very happy and thankful. Similarly, adiyen is in search of the works of one " Maampazha kavirayar " who also lived at Ramanathapuram and one of the poets in Sethupathi's Dharbar. Any information on him will also be helpful .   Adiyen will upload a pdf of " Sri Parthasarathiyammaan paamaalai " soon alongwith one " Atthigiri Varadan anthaathi " published first by 11-9-1814 (yes 1814) and republished by Sri P.R.Thirumalai Iyengar on 4-4-1953. adiyen may serialise contents of another book " Sri Vaishnavam " published in 1937.  It is a digest on Srivaishnavism in very simple Tamil language compiled and published by one Sri Ranganatha Mudaliar.
