Maharishis, Acharyas etc have tried to elobarate and explain various meanings, but their efforts defeated. This proves that " Sree" sabtha is having enormous and countless meanings. This is like " Narayana" sabtha. But Bagavath Sastras chose six main/fundamental meanings to this " Sree". These six main meaningscomprise many many meanings. Bhagavan is having countless Kalyana Gunas, but He is termed as " Shatkunya Paripooranan". In these six Gunas, all other countless gunasare absorbed. In other words, all countless Kalyana Gunasof Bhagavan are based on the main six Kalyana gunas. Like this, " Sree" comprises countless meanings, but all these meanings are absorbed in these six main meanings Let us see now what are these six main meanings 1. Srayatha ithi Sree She takes refuge with Baghavan. She is solely, ever dependent on Him. She resides in His chest ever, even when He took "avathar" as " Vaamana" ( Brahmachari) 2. Sreeyathe ithi Sree All chetanas, Nithyas, mukthas are solely dependent on Her, like She is dependent on Her Husband. She is also " Seshee" to Jagath ( Universe) 3. Sreeyam chru himsaayaam She destroys all faults/sins of chetanas . When Jeevan prostrates and salutes Her, praying to forgive all it's sins/faults, She readily does it 4. Sroonotheethi Sree She hears the sorrows/ distress/ misfortunes of chetanas 5.Sreeyam chru visthaare Duly advising chetanas, She increases manyfold the gunas of chetanas 6. Sraavaya theethi Sree She induces Bhagavan to hear the sorrows of chetanas telling Him that no one is without a "sin" in the Universe and that He has to pardon all the sins of chetanas. She is " Purushakara Boothai" There is a meaning to " Sree" sabtha as " Purushakaarathvena Saranyaiya" Those who is " Purusha Kaaraa" should have link/connection on both ends i.e. with Bhagavan and with chetana Ahammathrapthyubhayo vai saakshaal lakshmi pathi: swayam| lakshmi:purushakaarena vallabha praapthiyogini| edhasyaachcha viseshoyam nigamantheshu sabthyathe|| Baghavan says that He is Lakshmipathi that He is Ubhayaa to reach Him that His Priya Mahalakshmi helps chetanas to reach Him , acting as "Purushakaraboothai" Not only "Pancharatra", but also Azhvar Sri sookthis, Chathusloki, Gathyathrayam, Sreesthvam, Sri gunarathnakosam etc sthuthis clearly vouchsafe these " Sree " continues Oh, bakthas of Sri Mahalakshmi, Do not post-pone your act of contributing to the construction of " Thayar Sannidhi " at Gopurapatti , shying that how a meagre contribution can be given to this kaimkaryam.
