Guest guest
Respected Swamins, adiyen Sridharan dasyasya vigyabhanam. Daily Iam doing Thiruvaradhanam at my residence. Please Kindly clarify my following doubts. 1. I have in total 6 Saligramams and one Dwaraka sila. I have kept 4 Saligramams and Dwaraka sila in one box and other two saligramams in another box. I want to know whether it is correct? 2. Iam performing Thirumanjanam with Theertham, Sheeram and with Honey. I want to know whether Iam right in doing Thirumanjanam with Honey? 3. While in Alankarasanam Iam applying Sandal paste to all the Saligramams and for Dwaraka sila Iam applying Kum Kum aslo in addition to Sandal paste. I want to know whether Iam right in applying Kum kum for Dwaraka sila? Thanking you, and expecting your clarifications on the above subject. Guest guest
If sandal wood paste is prepared freshly every time by rasping good sandalwood on stone (uraikal) it is OK. It may not be good to take in theertham with traces of kugumam and commercial sandalwood items. Kungumam has padigaram in it. Guest guest
Dear Sri Sridharan, It is not advised two saligramams in one box.You may shift dwaraka sila also to that box, so that the count is more than 2. You may shift a salagramam also from the other box. Please refer to any Sri Vaishnava salagrama tiruvaradanam book , applying kunkumam during tiruvaradanam is not practised. Only freshly prepared sandal paste(not the ready made powder) Daasan, R.Srinivasan.
