10 Mana; kaamamaakoothim vaachas sathyama seemahi |

Pasuunaam roopamannasysa mayisree: srayathaam yasa: |\

 

Let us have Sri Mahalakshmi who is "priya" to "manas", who is meaning of words and who is everything including "chith" and "achith". Let us have "Jnaanaswaroopi " of jeevas and the fame of all happiness

 

In the previous sloka, the "prarthana " was to reside permenantly in our house. In this sloka, the prarthana is that "let Piratti have "nithyavaasam " with us

 

Sri Purusha Sooktham says

 

Hreeschayathei laksmeesya pathnyou, ishtam manishaanaa.........

" Paththan's" gunas are sathvam, rajas, thaamasa Nithyamukthaas gunas are "shadguna ". Piratti is the "fame " of all these "gunas"these "gunas " are "annamayam "Sri Mahalakshmi's anugraha may reach me and also "fame"

Sreeyam vaasaya mey kule maatharam padmamaalineem ||

 

 

Hey, Karthama Prajapathi ! Kindly see that your adopted daughter Sri Mahalakshmi, who is the divine mother of all the worlds and who is adorning "lotus" garland to reside ever in our lineage

 

Sri Mahalakshmi is called as "Karthami " from the time of "adoption " by "Karthama Prajapathi "

 

Mime shatathvano vyakraa miye maanise thathaakilai:|

mithichcha sarvamaanaanaam maathi saanthar mamaakilam||

She helps all jeevans who surrender to leap across "samsaara saagaraa"

Padmamaalineem

Padmam is Her garland. Padmam is Her"Asana'. Padmam is Her hand . Padmam is above Her as "umbrella". She is "Thaamaraiyal". She is " malar magal". She is " Kamalappaavai". She is " Malaraal"

 

There are 32 "padmams" in the sareeraa on the back-side from the head ( Brahmaranthram) to the back-bone in the "hip"( some say till kidney). One "Naadi " is traversing /travelling all through these. This "Naadi "is said to be "Sri Mahalakshmi" and the moove in this "Naadi " is said to be Sri Mahalakshmi( Sushumnaa naadi ). This is "Vishnu Sakthi "
