Rajagopalan, a descendant of Madurai Thirunaranayyangar swami, has sent me a copy of the book published by him in 2000. Titled as " vanmikiyum Tamilum " ,, the book contains several articles written by Sri Thirunaranayyangar an erudite scholor in Tamil, Sanskrit and samprathayam and who lived at Madurai in 1950s. many of the group members may be knowing about his commendable service at Madurai Tamil Sangam. Some may even remember that Sri Oppiliappankovil Navaneetham SriRama Desikachar acknowledged Sri Thirunaranayyangar,s active assistance while Oppiliappankovil swamy published the Desika Prabhandham in 1944. In this book, there is an article on Desika Prabhandham , actually a lecture that Sri Thirunaranayyangar swami delivered on the 3rd anniversary of Sri Vedantha Desika Bhaktha Sabha Madurai ( which is functioning excellantly till date ) . Adiyen is very happy to share a portion from that one. Sri Rajagopalan, the copyright holder, has very graciously permitted me to reproduce the contents of the book anywhere. adiyen thank him for the same.
