Radha Kalyanam Utsavam @ Kumbakonam - Invitation

Dear all,

 

As part of the Hanuman Jayanthi celebrations, on 13th Dec 2009, "Radha Kalyanam" is being performed at - Anjaneya Ooliya Sourashtra Saba, J P Koil East Street, Kumbakonam, TN, from morning 8:15 a.m.

 

Jayadevar's astapathi bhajans along with the bhajans written by Sourashtra scholars shall be recited.

 

At 3:30 p.m. as a unique way of praying Pavan Putra - Hanuman, a procession that ends on Monday morning at 6:30 / 7 a.m. starts. A person wearing "Anjaneya Sirasam" is taken around with dancing and singing Bhajans of Rama, Krishna and Anjaneya by around 150-200 people.

 

I invite everyone to attend this function which is being conducted for the past 80+ years in Kumbakonam and receive the blessings of Lord Anjaneya.
