I had the opportunity to be in Kanchipuram on Kaisiga Ekadasi day as well as on the next day morning Kaisiga Dwadasi day, when Kaisiga Puranam was read in Sri Deva Perumal Temple. Kanchi Thathachariars used to read the Puranam and this year also a Swamy from their family read the Puranam. He was received in the temple with traditional honours and the Puranam was read in the mandapam in front of Sri Deva Perumal Moolavar Sannathi, in the gathering of a large gathering of devotees.
