Trivia for today:

Attached is a photo of Perumal, Sudharshana/Nrusimhan, SriBashyakarar and all Azhwars in the Adhyayana Utsava mEDai/mantapam. Nammazhwar is presiding in the lower center with Kulasekara azhwar and Nachiyar since we recited their pasurams yesterday.

1. Indeed a very special day of the entire Utsavam where we have the privilege of reciting 4 Azhwars pasurams

2. Thirucchanda Viruttham by Thirumazhisai azhwar is the only azhwar who (tried) practising Jainism, Buddhism, Saivism(advaitism) before settling for the ultimate truth convinced by Pey Azhwar!!

3. Tondaradippodi Azhwar is the only azhwar who sang on none other that the Lord at Srirangam

4. ThiruppAnazhwar of AmalanAdipiran is the only Azhwar to see the Lord on a Bhattar's shoulder and be accorded ahzwar for only 1 Pasuram

5. Madhurakavi azhwar whose pasuram we will end with, is the only azhwar and the first one to show us the greatness of respect to an acharyan. Hence seeding the true SriVaishnavite path to attaining the Lord only through an Acharyan.
